Energy and sustainable development agency of Modena, attended the SISMA-MED workshop presenting the tool they have produced in order to assess how much public funds should be provided in order to make an energy efficiency investment feasible (through an EPC).

The assumption for the SISMA tool is that for significant energy retrofit investments (such as i.e. external insulation) public subsidies are needed in order to support/complement the investment made by the ESCO.

The workshop took place on 17th May in Florence organized by InformEST, the Energy Agency of Friuli Venezia Giulia (APE FVG) and the Energy Agency of Florence.

Networking with representatives of further Med projects (SHERPA and IMPULSE), did also occur.

The tool, as soon as available in its definitive version, will become part of the STEPPING training package.
