STEPPING project has been selected as the mentor in the framework of a knowledge exchange activity organized by the PROSPECT Horizon project. After two preliminary web conferences, the training activity is going to be held in Torino by Piemonte Region and EnviPark on the 28th and 29th of May 2019 and it will be focused on EPC.
The facilitator of the learning activity is FEDARENE (European Federation of Agencies and Regions for Energy and the Environment), while mentees are LAs or Energy agencies coming from several European Countries, including MED Areas. Main objectives of the initiative are: how to find appropriate funding for energy management system and how to operate efficiently with it; closer insight into the financial management of this kind of projects; closer insights into standardization, pooling, bundling and de-risking; contracting EPC's and negotiating with municipalities. Also monitoring activities, legal and administrative aspects will be explored. Thanks to a web training conference involving other STEPPING partners, AEGEA, DPH, AURAEE, different case studies will be presented and discussed with the mentees.
A site visit to a public school located in Bruino, near to Torino and retrofitted thanks to EPC, will be also organized.
