For the 2014-2020 programming period the MED Program has adopted a new approach looking more closely to project identities and expected results, less to the process or simple project outputs. Each project is part of a thematic community. STEPPING forms together with nine other projects (CESBO MEO, EDU FOOTPRINT, IMPULSE, NEW FINANCE, SHERPA, SISMA, ENERJ, PrioritEE, TEESCHOOLS) the “Efficient Buildings” thematic community. The MEDNICE Horizontal Project is active in creating and taking full advantage of synergies between modular projects.
This new approach is particularly important for the energy efficiency field, which requires multilevel activities and needs profound changes in the stakeholders mentality. STEPPING will therefore dedicate not only a particular focus on collaboration within its thematic community, but also to a wider group of projects and subjects operating in the field of energy efficiency in buildings.
